Yes, we're a party kind of bunch!  Nedra Allmond (@NedraAllmond) had the great idea to throw a SharePoint Launch Party!  So we're getting together on May 12th at VLounge in Santa Monica.

All forms of technologists have decended on Los Angeles this week for The Experts Conference.  I am priviledged to be able to speak along side of some of the best minds in the SharePoint community.

If that wasn't exciting enough the entire LA SPUG meeting will be in session on Tuesday night down at the hotel.  Even if you don't have a conference pass we invite you to join us.

The SharePoint community is one of the liveliest ever.  Don't miss your chance to see some of its stars right here in our hometown!

See you there!

That's right folks - we're doing it again.  On the heels of our successful charity TweetUp at SPC09 we're going to do another at SPTechCon to benefit the Childrens' Defense Fund (@childdefender).  Here's the details so far:

When:  Tuesday night @ 7:30pm
Where: Knuckles Bar at the Conference Hotel
What:  No-host bar and lots of fun.

We'll pass the basket for our local charity and set up an online method of donation.

Remember folks, sharing IS the point!

See you in San Francisco!

John Mancini, the President of AIIM recently published an e-book called 8 Reasons You Need a Strategy for Managing Information - Before It's Too Late.  He wrote a good portion and also took information from his guest bloggers, including me! I wrote the section on Workflow and Business Process engineering.

It's exciting to get published in any way and I'm priviledged to be in such good company.  Go download your copy today and then read it!

My favorite quote:  "'Suck it up, Princess' is not a change management plan."  Love it!
